Intonation: accuracy of pitch in playing or singing, or on a stringed instrument such as a guitar.
Rhythm: a strong repeated pattern of sound
Technical Exercises: exercises to improve techniques relevant to the instrument or voice type
Dynamics: the volume and sound of the instrument or voice
Phrasing: the division of a melodic line
Range: distance from lowest and highest pitch
Sight Reading: read and perform music with no preparation
Improvisation: playing something off the top of your head with no prior planning, often used in solos
Breath Control: controlling how you breath while singing
Vibrato: the rapid, slight variation of pitch when playing or singing
Confidence: the quality of being certain of your abilities or actions
Tuning: a particular key where sn instrument, especially one with strings, is tuned
Accompaniment: a musical part that supports instruments or a group
Repertoire: a set of skills that a performer can use regularly
Musical Interaction: how parts of music interact with each other
Stage Presence: the ability to gain attention through physical appearance or mannerisms
